Chibi Owlings...

Miiiiiii! Aren't they the cutest? I've been asked a few times about my old Mr and Mrs Hoot if you can remember them. I decided a while back that I wouldn't make any more cases completely out of felt since I think that the fur is more durable. Anyway, I've been thinking of making new owls for a while and over the weekend my brain has been over-loaded with ideas and these little cuties were just one of them.

So yesterday I made a pattern and here they are! Available in my Etsy shop as usual.

Milanoo...

Today I've had one of the most unproductive days in a long long time. I am trying to make weekends into weekends and give Tomo a rest so that I don't cook myself. So today I've done absolutely nothing at all and that led to boredom and endless searching the web for goodies.

Anyway, I came across this website called MILANOO! I have been looking for shoes for ages now. I really really don't like these extremely high heels that are in fashion now, and the fact that there are no shoes in between flats and super high heels has made me very angry lately, and in fact I've given up on ever finding pretty shoes without heals that are sky high. But things tend to show up when you stop looking for them (and when you haven't got any money to buy them). I stumbled upon a tumblr today that I unfortunately closed and can't remember the name of. But it was one of the best Japanese Pop Culture Tumblr's I've ever seen and I was stuck on it for about an hour just browsing endless photos of Japanese goodness. But it hit me while I was browsing, how much I looooooved the shoes all the Lolita girls were wearing, and sooooo I searched for "Lolita Shoes" with Google, and look what I found! The fact that I've filled up my shopping basket with 14 pair of shoes for £517 (-.-) is both a good and a bad thing. Let's just hope that I'll win the lottery soon!

If you love chunky Lolita shoes just as mush as I do, you just have to visit MILANOO. They ship world-wide and the prices are very reasonable. I can't give you a review of the actual shoe quality just yet, but I will once I've bought a pair! Cause I will as soon as I can afford it!

The forest dwellers have arrived...

The forest dweller mirrors arrived today!!! I love them! Very excited to put them up in the shop. They came out so good.

Nice and neat...

This might be the most boring blog entry I've ever made but I am so proud of myself for sorting all my embroidery thread out and all my boxes. Now it looks all nice and neat again yeeey! Ready for a new day of work tomorrow <3 

Art print maybe?

Well I've had the idea for quite some time now, to get some art prints up in the shop. The only problem is that I don't know what root to head down. I haven't done art prints before so I guess I'll just try some out and see what happens. What do you think?

Mon-Chi....

 MON-CHI! Another necklace pouch. I love everything about these. They are still a bit of a challenge to make and there is a few things I still need to figure out before the making becomes smooth lol. But the fact that I've managed to sort two out so far has made me very proud. I need to head in to town at some point to find more zippers, it's amazing that nobody sells them by the yard. I do know one place but it is far outside of town and when you only got a bike for transportation you get quite limited to how far you can go. There is one more place in town that I've forgotten to check though. These cases will be available as the original yeti cases too, but as you know I am waiting for safety eyes to come. I did get the batch I ordered from Asia but they were the wrong size (-.-')! I've ordered new ones from a different place now and they should be with me in about 2 weeks. Till then I dono what to do but I've gotten into the swing of making something new every day, so I need to make something otherwise I don't feel productive enough.... So back to the craft corner I go!

Floom, the pouch yeti...

I spent yesterday working out my new product that I've wanted to do for a while now. Many people message me about not having an ipod or iphone but they still want a case, maybe to put other things in. So I though, why not make a proper purse or a little bag that anyone can use. And here it is! I am super happy with it and it took a bit of figuring out to get it looking the way I wanted with the zip and the lining and everything. I am proud of myself for managing to sort this little sweetie out and I can't help but walking over to give it a stroke every now and then LOL.

This is the first of many but since my budget is a bit more restricted now that my bank account don't get filled up every three months any more (the sweet life of a student) I have to do things bit by bit as money comes in. But there will be more indeed!
