Ladybirds and Blossoms....

Since there is nothing else for me to do I will just keep the patterns coming. I guess it is a great thing as I've had the time to really focus on MobiLOVE over the past week. It needed some attention and I feel that I've finally found the originality I was looking for. MobiLOVE now breathes Emelie Jensen and nothing else. I never thought it would be so hard to give MobiLOVE an identity. The mobile phone accessory market is so saturated these days, and it is extremely hard to stand out and especially to be original in this sea of mobile phone cases. The good thing is that I've had to force myself to explore my mind and push myself to invent something new. And I have found another path along the way. I am researching some new products at the moment. I don't know if it will work or if I have to financials to sort it out. But I will look in to it. My aspirations as a designer has grown tremendously over the past month or two and I really want to see where this can take me. I am very curious.

If you want these cases then you can find them in the MobiLOVE Etsy store as usual. Just follow the links below.

LadyBirds and Blossoms for Samsung Galaxy S3 and S4

I am still waiting for baby to come out and I am now 5 days over due. I am not very "happy" at the moment as I am struggling in this stupid heat wave and I can just about move now. I force myself to go for a walk around the block every night when the sun has gone down as this should help to get baby in position. I hope she'll arrive within the next couple of days, but who knows. Till then I will use my fan and my bed as much as possible lol.

A Hearty Tree and its Pattern...

Good morning ladies and gents! Hope you've had a great weekend. I spent mine away from the computer and away from any work. I am suffering in this heat at the moment but have tried to leave the house anyway. Yesterday the sun decided to stay hidden so I actually managed to be out for quite some time without dying.

Last week in my marker madness I managed to draw this little tree anyway. I've had half of it done on my rough sketched which I do to come up with new patterns. So I decided to finish it anyway and with this tree came many other ideas.
I am very happy with it and I love the colours. Black, blue and red are some of my favorite colours to match. They compliment each other so well.
And since I fell in love with the leaves on the tree I decided to make a pattern out of them. I lurvely pattern that I would like to have printed onto fabric and dress and armchair with or something. It's been a project I've wanted to take on for quite some time now. But I need to find a good armchair in a second-hand shop first. I have found a few but never had the money to buy one at the time. I know there is one waiting for me out there somewhere and when I come across it I will know.
But for now, the pattern have to go on to phone cases. Which you can buy from the MobiLOVE shop of course. And they're available for both iPhone 4/5 and Samsung Galaxy S3/S4!
 How about them apples ey?!?!

Drawings, drawings, drawings...

Happy Monday peoples! Here it is bank holiday today, so another day of rest.... For some anyway. I treat it as a normal working day and I have been working more or less all weekend. I started this pattern that you can see above about a week ago and yesterday I finished it. It was meant for a phone case but I think it is to detailed to come out nice on the actual case. I might make a test print at some point but for now I will keep it as it is. I think it would look cool on tiles funny enough.
I tried it with a black background and a white and I think I like the black the most. Reminds me of an old coffee tin jar.
Tiles for the kitchen maybe?
I've been drawing quite allot over the weekend. Just trying to get things off my mind and on to paper instead. They're a bit easier to handle once they're on paper. I don't have to think about them anymore then. I've been doing a lotus flower study and I want to create a real nice and floaty pattern out of them. I am thinking in the colours of maroon, mint green, yellow and pink. Need to do a study of the leaves tonight and get some more variations of the flowers in there too.
This little cutie I drew last night as well. It's been a long long time since I used markers, but I decided that just because one is in to graphic design must not everything be made on the computer. I thought it would make a nice addition to the MobiLOVE phone cases, and it look brilliant on the actual case.
Meow?!
You can get it for both iPhone 4/4S/5/5S and....
Samsung Galaxy S3/S4...
I am working hard on giving MobiLOVE an identity at the moment. Right now the shop is in one big mess as I am trying to make the change gradually. It is to much work to be done in one day, and I am still trying to find the right feel for it. I never thought it could be so hard to give something so simple an identity. But maaan I am struggling.
I am getting a bit closer everyday though and am trying to give it that hand-made feel. And with some rope, a glue gun and a bit of cardboard and a little help from my true companion the computer I think the new Logo looks mint!
What do you think? Does it give you that hand-made feel?
That is that for today. I've got a few orders to finish off today, and on Wednesday we're heading up to west Wales for a few days of rest and rehabilitation. I really need it... Just to get away from the madness of a busy Bournemouth. I can't wait for the silence and the bird song, fields as far as the eye can see and the sea. We're going out on the sea. It will be the first time for me on the actual sea here in the UK. I can't wait and I'll make sure to bring you some juicy pictures from my mini holiday.

Daisy Black and Brown...

Can you remember these ones? Well the brown one anyway. It is an old design of mine that used to be very popular. I have decided to bring it back for a little while. I am running out of this fabric and will not be getting any more of it. So these will be in the shop for as long as the fabric lasts. Same goes for the Ushi Coin Purses. So if you want either these or a coin purse I suggest that you hurry up and get them soon. I have had many requests about these sleeves so I hope that many of you will be happy to see them back. ^o^

You can find Daisy Black HERE and Daisy Brown HERE!
