Meet Tomo...

I have spent all night redoing this blog, Tomo's deviantart and Etsy. I've wanted to give Tomo a face for a while now and decided to take one of the charms I designed the other day and make a mascot out of him. So yeah this is Tomo. He will be the face of Tomo from now on and I am really happy with the new logo and how darn cute he looks. Been a while since I worked in Photoshop now since the crafting have been taking up most of my time. This took me about 3 hours to paint and I am very happy with him. I think he is the perfect spokes "person" for Tomo. He is cute, squidgy, clueless and just loveable, and that is all you need to be a great spokes Yeti I reckon.

Fi-Fi...

Here's Fi-Fi! Next up in the line of necklaces. I find it super hard to photograph these little sweeties. The photos don't do them justice at all. Looks like I have to look in to getting a better camera after all. Gonna take a while though, can't believe how expensive they are. Anyway, Fi-Fi is up in my Etsy shop now!

Good and Bad...

 Yeah things are going up and down, not because things are working bad with Tomo, no it works so well that it is killing me lol! Just kidding! Tomo is working great and I love every second of it. The only problem is that my uni-work is suffering, and that on the other hand is not good at all. So I have come to some decisions. Since I've got more jewellery on its way I will fill Tomo's Etsy shop with those instead and for now I will stop making the iPhone/iPod cases. FOR NOW! They will be back once I've finished Uni. So in June at some point they will be back in store. The necklaces don't take me half as long to assemble as a yeti case for example, so they are much more suited for part time work.

Anyway, Tomo's first necklace hit the store yesterday, his name is Frostbite and he is super duper cute! You can find him in my Etsy shop. Soooooooo happy with these little charms. So happy that I went ahead and made another 5 designs and ordered 100 of them. Check em' out!

Also, next weekend I'm going to Cardiff Comic Expo, and there I was supposed to promote my cases but since I've decided to pause the production I will be selling these badboys instead. I don't have many, only about 20 /design so if you're planning on going if you're in the UK area then hurry up to my booth! I am going with my Uni so you will find me at the Swansea Metropolitan University table. I will be there both Saturday and Sunday.

Timetable...

My orders have picked up so much that I need to start a timetable to get my university work in there as well. I will have to get up at 07.00 every morning *sigh* and do my Tomo orders till 10.00. Then I have to go for a shower and get ready and then sit down in front of the computer and do uni work till 17.00. After that I can check my orders and answer to any emails until 19.00 and after that I need my own time. Everything has been intruding on my spare time as well so I don't seem to have any at all. I am very tired and I think if I continue this way I will end up burning myself out one day. So better sort myself out before that day comes. 

Anyway, as Tomo grows I want to bring in some more goods. I am in the midst of designing Yeti vinyl charms/necklaces at the moment. I have only made one so far, but here is a little sneak peak...  

First Treasury...

Sorry for the late update today. Been angry all day about my super fail at creating my first yeti plush. It is scrapped now and I need to do something else to get my mood back I think. Anyway, this treasury really cheered me up. And I thought it suits Valentines Day very well! Go check it out!!! >.<

Also I finally sorted a DeviantART page out for Tomo so go and check that out tooooo!!! YEEEY! :)

Tomo Skelly and FB...

I was very busy making iPod/iPhone cases last night. I managed to get two and a half done. I really shouldn't be doing this since I got an essay on 6000 words to write. But I though if I'd get the designs I had in mind out of my system that A) I have something new to upload an show you guys every day for 3 days. B) I can focus on my essay without feeling that I'm not active enough on my blog and on Etsy. So I had my reasons! Now then, this is Tomo Skelly and you can find him in my Etsy shop like always. I think he goes with most things since he is black and white. And I've actually ended up using this prototype for myself hihi >.<

Also I've finished Tomo's Facebook page. It took me a while to sort out since I'm not THAT keen on Facebook, but I realized that it is a great way of keeping up with my fans and an easy way for them to keep up with me. Tomo Zombie...

We got us a new addition to the Tomo Etsy shop! Tomo Zombie is here! I thought it'd be fun to do something not so cute for once, but I guess he came out pretty cute anyway. There will be a Milk Zombie coming later as well but I'm still waiting for the fabric for that since I couldn't find any locally. I should really be focusing on my Uni work but find myself side tracked with Tomo all the time. Hmmm what to do, what to do? Another iPod case maybe? hihi

The Milk Family...

I've had a busy day today running around in town trying to sort fabric out for my new range of milks and also fabric for some more cool iPod/iPhone cases. Anyway I had tuns of ideas for some more Milk Plushes yesterday and decided to do something I don't think I've seen anywhere else. These are weird but very cute milk plushes. First I have to finish the Milk Milk plush though and then I will get my teeth into the Yeti Milk I think and there after the Zombie Milk, Skeleton Milk and the Hello Kitty Milk. The iPod/iPhone cases that I have in mind will be based around these designs as well. I am really looking forward to it. Hope you are to! :)

Tomo Strawberry Milk...

Tomo's first Plushie is here! YEEY! Tomo Strawberry Milk Plush! This is my first go at making a plushie. I made the pattern myself and thought that the first try was going to be a bit off a mess, but it turned out that my pattern was flawless. I am so happy with it and it came out way better than I expected. As always you can find her in my Etsy shop. Next up is her companion Tomo Milk Milk.

Milk Milk...

 Yupp! Tomo's first plushies are on their way. Strawberry Milk and Milk Milk. I hope to have at least one ready by tonight and posted on Etsy tomorrow at some point. On Monday I'm going back to Uni again so things will slow down a little since I have to focus on my major project. If you're interested in that you can go to Synthetic Eden and check it out. Only got about 5 months left in Uni now and after that I can focus more on Tomo and bring you some new exciting stuff. Really looking forward to that!

Tomo Foxie...

Third of the iPod/iPhone cases range little Tomo Foxie. Cute little thing that I am very happy with. I've made along list now of handmade iPhone/iPod cases. 3 down 11 to go if I can find the material I want for them. Stay tuned!

Tomo Panda...

The iPhone/iPod case collection is growing. This new edition is a little panda girl with a cute little bow decorating her forehead. Work the same way as the Totoro case and looks just as cute on your iPhone/iPod. As always available in my Etsy shop. 

I hope to have at least a few more of these done before I return to Uni on Monday. I dono if I will be able to or not but I really hope so.

Totoro iPhone/iPod Case...

After a mad Christmas, and after deciding to make more or less all Christmas presents on my own I have finally had time to focus a little bit on Tomo. I had an iPod Touch for Christmas and I desperately needed an iPod case. I was scanning around the internet and found some really cute hand made iPod cases and I don't know why it hadn't crossed my mind before to make one myself. Anyway I gave it a go and it came out really nice so I have decided to make more of these to sell on Etsy. This one is for myself but is available to order on Etsy.

Kawaii Sushi...

I had my first day back at Uni. yesterday so I've been busy trying to sort my course work out today. But I did find time in the end to finish this little fella out. I dono yet but I think I'll make a little range of these kawaii sushi hair-bands in the the next coming weeks. Will be up on Etsy tomorrow by the way. My lighting in here at night is not great and I don't like putting up photos on Etsy that I'm not happy with. So tomorrow at some point this will be up for sale...
